Bio

I strive to make what I want to see exist in the world. Honing my strengths as designer, I blended my interest in design and business and created my own personal brand. I hope that with time and effort, I can build my brand into something amazing.

Artist Statement

Going into this project, I had no idea what I wanted to do. At first, I came up with an idea that wasn’t personally fulfilling but I assumed it would appease the audience. I then realized that without an idea I was passionate about, the project can easily turn into an uninteresting chore. After two weeks into the semester I scrapped my previous idea and decided to start all over again. This time, in order to build
an idea I’m passionate about, I turned to my sketchbook. I always loved to doodle but my doodles dontever really cross paths with my graphic design work. So I decided to do just that. I was walking into a familiar work process, but with aspects I havent ever considered connecting.

The premise of the project was to see if I can build a brand using assets that were completely original. Throughout the process, I discovered things about myself that I thought were importnant and how to build an effective creative process. I bought two sketchbooks and three giant markers. I filled out both notebooks with hundreds of sketches to just find out how I want the brand to look and feel. Due tothe limited materials, I ended up with a pretty consistent style. This helped me alot when it came to brand identity because I already had everything right infront of me. I decided on three out of the hundreds graphics I drew and found a solid brand identity. I found the best way to present the graphics were through clothing, since I was very familiar with screenprinting. The brand consists of a minimalistic website, garments, and more products in the future.

Halfway through the semester I decided to center my project around consistency, discipline, and the importance of the creative process. A great idea comes every once in a while, but if you stay disciplined and consistent in any creative indevor, that great idea comes alot more often.

Senior Studio Project

Nimbo! is a lifestyle brand that embodies creativity and self expression. The goal of Nimbo is to inspire others to think for themselves creatively and highlight the creative process. Nimbo is built off of two things. Consistency and Discipline. Through a calculated creative process that shows that anyone can do it.

Past Project 1

Clay is an EP by my younger brother Tomas Sendra. My brother has been composing instrumentals for years but has never put out an actual project. Once he decided to finally make one, I had the pleasure of designing the album cover. The album cover experiments with the combination of AI technology and physical assets. The cover consists of a “wizard” getting picked on, while the wizard remains unfazed. The wizard is supposed to represent Tomas, and the bullies as negative thoughts and experiences trying to take him down.

Denaro Binson

Denaro Binson is a side project I worked on during the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020. I was interested in screen printing at the time and decided to create a
brand that allowed me to spend time on something during the lockdown. I created  a website, graphics, and even promo videos for the brand. I had to eventually put
the brand on pause due to location change and interest in other projects.
